For my figure collection I created some smaller models to test with acrylic paint and coloured glazes to see how the models would come out, I also made some tiles to test the glaze. Where I can separately put them back into the kiln to bake and see how the glaze will set, seeing if its flaky or how the colours look.

The figurine models where inspired by these childhood toys called "Go Go Crazy Bones" they were made out of plastic and I would play against my sisters and friends with them, almost like marbles but you would flick them to knock over you opponents therefore winning their figures. I chose these as inspiration because I really like the combination of colours and that they all have little unique details and names. I also made mine bigger so it was easier to see the details on them. I found that with acrylic paint I had to paint a base layer of white so that the colours would be more vibrant, I found that I had to add multiple layers of colour to make sure they didn't look patchy. It was difficult as they are about 1-2 inches high. But overall I really liked how they came out and I'm focusing on making more.
