We created a film piece using film interdisciplinary where we worked individually or in pair, to create our own short video. This approach I felt made the piece more personal as we chose to include people in the recording as well as some of the artworks we created. this made the movie making more interactive and social as well where we conducted feedback interactions and gathering peoples thoughts and feeling about our film. It was also using the Performance interdisciplinary and we were filming each others work using the camera. It also featured some actions were one of us was the director and counted in the other being the performer with music as an introduction at the beginning of the film piece.
Also this approach showed different planning we had to consider for example, how we want to project the film, the size of the projection and if we were projecting onto something. Our piece was projected onto a corner using some small paintings, made by my group partner as a makeshift background. This made the film become almost part of the painting pieces it was layered onto. We really liked how it came out because when we altered the scale it looked like a miniature cinema scene. Forming a new visual perception and angle, allowing the viewers to interact more moving closer to see the film.
