Here I'm using the Archive interdisciplinary where I'm creating a series of ink paintings of different scales and styles and I've time stamped them to help me keep track of my progress. This is like the archivists and how they can keep a record of the different films and videos over time. I've also chose this approach as I want to see my development and improvement working with this medium. I can also use this to compare piece and see what worked and what didn't so I know what I can improve on. I'm also gathering lots of feedback from my peers to help with my progress as well.
I found that by using this approach throughout this project creates a timeline for my work where I can go back through the date they're organized into and find specific pieces I created and see different details I included. It will also help me to refer back to earlier artworks and compare them to recent ones and see if there any contrasting differences for example, how I manipulated the ink or if I used more media on top.
